Have you ever wondered why A, B, C, D, DD, E, F, G, and how the letters are used to define bra sizes?

If you have wondered why, but couldn't figure out what the letters stood for, it is about time you became informed!

{A} Almost Boobs... {B} Barely there. {C} Can't Complain! {D} Dang! {DD} Double dang! {E} Enormous! {F} Fake. {G} Get a Reduction. {H} Help me, I've fallen and I can't get up.

Topic:

Bras have existed in some form since the kalasiris of Ancient Greece, and the corsettes of the Snake Goddess in Minoan Crete, and still dominate the image of the "modern sexy woman." We wish to look at the history of the bra; the changes in bra design and uses; as well as the greater social values, stereotypes, and stigmas attached to the bra.

Cori: Great topic, but potentially huge. I would suggest that you come up with a couple of specific questions or connections and develop them in depth.

Sebastian: Great classification schema, by the way. Who would've known?
